How to perform effective kumite?

One of the most important factor is your body language, Your expressions, the way you present yourself in kumite. If any great fighter comes opposite you  mentally you would almost hv lost the match. You would be thinking he is best fighter he will definitely win
But this mind set is wrong. You should play  and attack with full confidence thinking that your opponent is just  normal one.

Keep patience bcoz one who fights with agression makes many mistake.  Try to confuse your opponent . Make your opponent's stamina down by making his attack go waste. Try to deep breath, it will help u in maintaining your stamina

For defensive player he is definitely going to attack at some point  bcoz for winning he has to score. Soo when that opponent is going to attack , you should defence very strongly and then attack him accurately.
Also keep calm and notice your opponent weak points,  it will help you to score easily.

To make good footwork practice with help of elastic band at home. It will definitely help.

Practice on focus pad, it will increase your kicking  accuracy. You can easily then hit at opponent face.

Karate and Mental health

Happy world karate day to all lovely karatekas,  we always try adding values, and today also i want to highlight some important point, read till end before making wrong judgment. Sudden demise of one of the Finest Bollywood Actor and a Great Human being made all  talk about groupism in Bollywood but is that just limited to Bollywood? .....No ! SPORTS, BUSINESS, and many other fields have similar kind of things. When i was beginner i was not knowing that in our karate such things exists,  but then at later stage i got to know that all these things are going on here too. It make difficult for one to survive in such groupism,  i m a content creator, i approach all kind of athletes based on their skills and qualifications,  and this groupism make some people against me, they think we just support particular groups.... but in reality there is nothing like that in our mind, we don't care about any Group,  if one is really good we don't mind learning from him/her....

IS SELF DEFENCE AND KARATE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS?

Definitely Noo!!! one common thing i use to hear from people now a days is that they want to learn self defense. Many of them are learning karate then also they says they want to learn self defense. According to them karate is just a sport & karate and self defense are totally different thing.  Karate is itself self defense. Karate includes blocks, punches, throws, kicks, chops, strikes - any of these performed well is self defense. Each move in karate is self defense.
