KARATE NERD EXPERIENCE DAY 2

25th march 2019

Woke up today with hope of good day.

We were about to visit Nandi hills. We have woken up at 4:30 soo that we can reach early to see beautiful sunrise.. But cab driver we have booked arrived 1 hour late. It was already 6:30 when we left. We were stucked in traffic at a place for 45 mins . That driver told us  we will reach nandi hills till  by 9 am. Temp was quite hot. Their was no meaning at going nandi hills at 9 am as by that time the place will be quite hot. Then we decided to go nandi hills next day and diverted our route to iskon temple..

Iskon temple is a beautiful temple with beautiful idols of lord Krishna, the atmosphere is soo peacful there.
We had yummy breakfast at a restaurant nearby temple. In breakfast I had  idli along with coffee, it  was very delicious.

After temple we proceeded to visit Bangalore palace. At 9:15 we reached there. Our car was stopped at main gate as palace was about to open at 10 am. In that hot temperature we spend 45 mins in the car. We could have been gone to another nearby place but we didn't, because the city is such it takes 45mins or more to reach 6 km due to traffic .

At 10 am gate was opened and we went inside. We were about to shoot video but suddenly watchmen stopped us. He said you need to buy tickets

Tickets were quite costly. 500 for photography 700 for mobile videography and 1300 something for camera videography.

They were not allowing clicking pics from outside too

Inside we have been given mobile and headphones and at everyplace there hv been number  sign board soo by pressing that number we can know through a voice recording what that particular thing represents and its history.

Although it was not allowed we dared to shoot videos of something’s at inside that palace.
Palace was just ok compared to udaipur and mysore palace. No food eatery or drinking water were available outside that.

And we just learn that the king was very much inspired from western cultures. Listening rock music, having wines, animal poaching are some of his habits

We spended 1 and half hour in that boring palace.

After palace we visited cubbon park. We had yummy masala puri and pani puri outside park. These taste of masala puri i still haven't founded anywhere else. Probably this tasty dish with special recipe is just available in Karnataka

After that we have visited
"Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum"

It was at the entrance of cubbon park . The museum was established in 1962. But it was very well maintained. We shooted many videos of the museum. As being science student i founded that place interesting as some what live models were kept their and their basic working was shown..the person whose basics are not clear must visit that place.

I didn't needed to see each thing as i m electrical engineering student and i hv learnt much more advanced from that. Then also done lots of childish things and masti  like kids and wasted lots of time also.

Around 12:30 we were out of museum,…then proceeded to entrance of park. There we  founded lots of bamboo tree, and then  hitted on that as just to explore the strength and conditioning training on that. Bamboos are soo hard they work more severe then makiwara. We were very hungry so decided not to visit whole cubbon park.

Finding a vegetarian restaurant in Bangalore was a big task after 1 hour travelling we founded a restaurant and had some food. 3 times a day i can’t have south Indian food . just for survival and no other option I had to eat a little.
That day we had evening practice. We have been instructed to reach dojo by 7:30 and due to traffic we reached almost by 8.
Me and my bro have been always punctual to reach on time for karate, and Bangalore traffic make us late. The dojo was just 6km far from hotel where we had been staying, but due to bad traffic it took us more then an hour to reach dojo.

We had never seen such traffic in Ahmedabad, we were getting soo late and were unable to do anything, that soaked half of our energies as it was very difficult to handle. It was very frustrating When we reached at dojo all players were waiting for us and sensei too, as we were about to go on their vehicle to new dojo.
my brother is more punctual then me when it came to be on time, but that day traffic and unavailability of vehicle made made us late

New dojo was equally awesome as previous one. It was quite spacious too.

We had kumite training that day. I had got  reaction of a medicine, due to that, a day before flight I had got severe infection in my both the foot. I was unable to walk and severe itching, but I didn’t wanted to miss the opportunity soo despite that I came Bangalore. I had consulted good doctor also, and taken medicines and a cream for applying at affected area. But instead of curing it had worsen. While practising It was paining but I didn’t cared abt it, not even focused on that.
After little lunch whole day we didn’t had anything not even fruits because nearby we didn’t founded anything to eat. And we didn’t even explored anything as it became soo tedious and time consuming.
Not having any food , it had badly affected our energies.  Soo kind of sir that he got Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) for us in between practice.

One thing that differentiate prasad sir from other is we were not having any kind of pain after karate practice. We had not practiced from few months due to some reasons and then also after having such extreme karate we did not had any muscle pain also.

After practice at 10:10pm we reached the restaurant. The restaurant too closes sharp at 10:30 soo we had to quickly order something to eat. Again same restaurant I don’t know why despite being in such good city , we were unable to find good vegetarian food.

Hopefully at night uber was easily available.
The day was quite tedious.

Essential things for time Management for a SPORTS person

Time management becomes essential when your aims are high and you continously strives for success Things you should do for time management are: ▪︎List out priorities ▪︎lessen use of social media ▪︎waking up early ▪︎spending less time hangingout In India , if we are in sports, our time is not just limited to Training,  we have other stuffs like "studying" ,  or "Working" at a professional firm. All these , make it very difficult to be consist in sports and even it became tough to take out time for practice. That's why ,it is very essential to "list out priorities" and work accordingly. Everyday we all have lots of work, and mind start wandering what to do?..... You need to understand that all work can not be completed at a moment. Understand your " most important" work, "complete that", and then rush towards other work.. Individually everyone has different schedules,  different work,  No expert can guide you...

Karate and Mental health

Happy world karate day to all lovely karatekas,  we always try adding values, and today also i want to highlight some important point, read till end before making wrong judgment. Sudden demise of one of the Finest Bollywood Actor and a Great Human being made all  talk about groupism in Bollywood but is that just limited to Bollywood? .....No ! SPORTS, BUSINESS, and many other fields have similar kind of things. When i was beginner i was not knowing that in our karate such things exists,  but then at later stage i got to know that all these things are going on here too. It make difficult for one to survive in such groupism,  i m a content creator, i approach all kind of athletes based on their skills and qualifications,  and this groupism make some people against me, they think we just support particular groups.... but in reality there is nothing like that in our mind, we don't care about any Group,  if one is really good we don't mind learning from him/her....

IS SELF DEFENCE AND KARATE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS?

Definitely Noo!!! one common thing i use to hear from people now a days is that they want to learn self defense. Many of them are learning karate then also they says they want to learn self defense. According to them karate is just a sport & karate and self defense are totally different thing.  Karate is itself self defense. Karate includes blocks, punches, throws, kicks, chops, strikes - any of these performed well is self defense. Each move in karate is self defense.
