INJURIES IN KARATE AND IT'S PREVENTION

Most of the injuries arise if you are a kumite player.

Some of the common injuries are bone crack, sprain in legs, Hairline crack, Tissues injury, etc

For above mentioned injuries it is must to consult a orthopaedic.

Other type of injury include knee related arises due to improper body posture in excercise, improper running , practice of karate stance in improper way.

Knee related issues you won't get to know soo easily. After few years you will get pain in knee and it will have been damaged badly  that chronic issues would have been internally arised..

Ligament injuries are mostly seen among athletes. People don't even know that they are having ligament tear which results in more damage to ligament.

Ligaments tear is of  mainly 3 types - grade 1 , grade 2 , grade 3.
If one is having grade 2 injury then  proper rest , rehabilitation, physiotherapy can be done and it can be healed to some extent for young people.
For grade 3 or more damaged one compulsory needs to undergo surgery.

In ligaments injury if proper care is not taken injuries are going to be worsen.

One thing that work as a boon is ice. For not soo severe injuries apply ice.
Be it fitness or karate or any other sports now a days genuine knowledged persons are less comparatively . But doing wrongs things can cost your life.  Doing improper exercises, karate, or weight training have very adverse effect on oneself.

Improper karate stances, doing  squats in wrong way ,will result in knee pain.

Another aspect is if your body is flexible you can minimize the chances of injury in karate

Injuries are not caused from attacks in kumite or any other stuff, they are caused by your own self because your body is not that much prepared to take any attacks or even blocks too .

As a athlete you need to take care in every aspects to prevent injuries.
"Precaution is better then cure" quote is true itself.

Essential things for time Management for a SPORTS person

Time management becomes essential when your aims are high and you continously strives for success Things you should do for time management are: ▪︎List out priorities ▪︎lessen use of social media ▪︎waking up early ▪︎spending less time hangingout In India , if we are in sports, our time is not just limited to Training,  we have other stuffs like "studying" ,  or "Working" at a professional firm. All these , make it very difficult to be consist in sports and even it became tough to take out time for practice. That's why ,it is very essential to "list out priorities" and work accordingly. Everyday we all have lots of work, and mind start wandering what to do?..... You need to understand that all work can not be completed at a moment. Understand your " most important" work, "complete that", and then rush towards other work.. Individually everyone has different schedules,  different work,  No expert can guide you...

Karate and Mental health

Happy world karate day to all lovely karatekas,  we always try adding values, and today also i want to highlight some important point, read till end before making wrong judgment. Sudden demise of one of the Finest Bollywood Actor and a Great Human being made all  talk about groupism in Bollywood but is that just limited to Bollywood? .....No ! SPORTS, BUSINESS, and many other fields have similar kind of things. When i was beginner i was not knowing that in our karate such things exists,  but then at later stage i got to know that all these things are going on here too. It make difficult for one to survive in such groupism,  i m a content creator, i approach all kind of athletes based on their skills and qualifications,  and this groupism make some people against me, they think we just support particular groups.... but in reality there is nothing like that in our mind, we don't care about any Group,  if one is really good we don't mind learning from him/her....

IS SELF DEFENCE AND KARATE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS?

Definitely Noo!!! one common thing i use to hear from people now a days is that they want to learn self defense. Many of them are learning karate then also they says they want to learn self defense. According to them karate is just a sport & karate and self defense are totally different thing.  Karate is itself self defense. Karate includes blocks, punches, throws, kicks, chops, strikes - any of these performed well is self defense. Each move in karate is self defense.
