One misconception common people have regarding any martial art like karate is "learning self defence and learning karate is totally different thing".

Karate is originally developed for self defence, and karate word itself meant ‘empty hand’. Karate includes punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes and open-hand techniques such as knife-hands, spear-hands and palm-heel strikes. Each move applied well can be used self defence.

Learning self defence is now a days becoming very essential , and that’s why for some people it has become just a business for money. People are being fooled by schemes such as “learn self defence in just 10 days” or alike.

Definitely self defence can be learnt in few days, there are some essential tricks in karate ,which learnt well , can be very useful. But one essential thing people don’t know that whatever tricks they will teach you it requires "strength, speed, power".

A common women who doesn’t do any sports or gyming, lack strength. Whatever tricks they may learn, but without "strength and speed", those tricks will never work.

Joining a karate is good way, to develop "strength, speed, power".

A martial artist can learn self defence in 1 day, but not a common person.

Time management becomes essential when your aims are high and you continously strives for success Things you should do for time management are: ▪︎List out priorities ▪︎lessen use of social media ▪︎waking up early ▪︎spending less time hangingout In India , if we are in sports, our time is not just limited to Training, we have other stuffs like "studying" , or "Working" at a professional firm. It make difficult for one to survive in such groupism, i m a content creator, i approach all kind of athletes based on their skills and qualifications, and this groupism make some people against me, they think we just support particular groups.... but in reality there is nothing like that in our mind, we don't care about any Group, if one is really good we don't mind learning from him/her. Following steps you should keep in mind if As a young nerd if you want to make karate as career: ▪︎Running Normal karate Dojo with lots of students will not make you rich ▪︎Start doing something different ▪︎Don't stop playing ▪︎keep your Aim high ▪︎Make Yourself a brand ▪︎ Running Normal karate dojo This is the 1st mistake lots of Young Karate Nerd do, where they go wrong is thinking in a wrong way, opening a karate class and getting students seems soo easy for some , but the whole system is not well established , you will not become rich by just normally running karate dojo with lots of students And this is your biggest mistake if you start focusing on money , If your whole motto is just money then there are lots of option for business. History proves that teachers are always respected a lot but most of them are struggling with "living", because they are not getting paid for their knowledge.
